Even before the release, Bahubali 2 already started making profit!
Economically speaking, 2017 is going to be a landmark year for Indian cinema, as we have two gargantuan projects- Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Shankar’s magnum opus 2.0 lined up for release. More than its breathtaking visuals, intriguing plot, little twits and turns, Baahubali will be remembered for shattering box-office records, which raked in Rs 600 crore globally.
Made on a budget of Rs 120 crore, Baahubali: The Conclusion is the most anticipated releases of the year, and its trailer is only a testimony.
Ahead of the release of the film, producer Shobu Yarlagadda has made some interesting revelations.
Speaking about the film’s business, producer Shobu Yarlagadda was d by Firstpost as saying, “Yes, we have already made profits before release from Baahubali 2 . We are confident that the film will be another blockbuster and our right holders will make profits.” He also said that they have bankrolled both Baahubali 1 and 2 for a whopping Rs 450 crore.
It must be noted that Baahubali 2 has reportedly minted a mind-boggling Rs 500 crore through its satellite and distribution right. With every passing day, the expectations it has among the audiences is huge. However, Baahubali 2 is very likely to emerge as one of the highest grossing Indian films.
Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj, the film will hit the theatres on April 28.
